my girlfriend says there is no way to get actual straight hair without getting a permanent straightening perm, whatever the heck that is
You can pull your hair back into a bun while it is still wet/damp, (perhaps after adding some gel or hairspray, then let it air dry. After it is dry, when you take it down it will be much straighter, and none of the heat damage from a flat iron.

none that i know of…. some times hair blow drys strait but that’s all
