  1. I have naturally curly hair too, but to keep it under control I use Frizz-Ease in the John Frieda collection. They do a variety of products from shampoos to sprays, and it really does help!

Alternatively, I use Herbal Essences Frizz Fighter Shampoo and Conditioner.

Both the products are brilliant and do exactly what they say they do.
    Hope this helps

  2. I have a similar problem. You might have thin hair, but alot of it, making it a little bit frizzy. I fix this by putting in alot of frizz serum (Paul Mitchell) and weather control from John Frieda. Also, a light gel to gently work into your hair would help form curls.
An alternative to adding these products, would be to use/buy 1 1/2 PLASTIC curlers, and rolling them up to just above your ear while your hair is wet, and allowing them to dry like this. Don’t go with metal curlers either, cause these can cause breakage. The curlers will give your hair a non-frizzy ringlet look, and by rolling them up to just about ear length, it will make the top of your hair flat, eliminating frizz.

    something like that.
Have fun, and embrace your curls.

  3. Never brush your hair when it’s wet (it causes damage). Instead, brush your hair before you wash it, and when you do wash it, be careful not to cause tangles. If you don’t like that, shower, dry your hair (try not to use a blow-dryer though), brush it, dampen it again and carefully scrunch in some mousse.

  4. You need the right products. Go to a few salons and ask what they do to hair like yours to make it the way you want. A texturizer will soften your curl pattern but you mentioned it had to be gentle. That’s why you need the expertise of a salon. Good luck.

  5. Try anti-frizz spray. I have sort of curly hair, and whenever it get’s frizzy I use anti-frizz spray on it and it actually makes them into ringlets. You can find anti-frizz spray anywhere from beauty salons to the hair section in target.

  6. just try some kind of mouse, it always works for me, i have your problem, though i used to actually take out some curls and redo them with a curling iron, only the ones on top that looked bad and i couldn’t fix in the direction i wanted them

  7. Paul Sebastian Potion #9 or any smoothing serum. Try your local beauty store like sally’s or something and they can help you out a lot. I can’t really tell which product without seeing and being able to touch and see how frizzy or dry it is.

  8. I have the same type of hair. I found this stuff called Hair Lotion at CVS. Takes away the frizz and makes the curls touchable and soft.

  9. Herbal essences has a new mousse. its in the purple can. It works awesome!!
