first thing? go to a SALON, not the pharmacy, its all junk.
you need to SPEND money to get the QUALITY PRODUCTS, ..or you’ll just end up with frizzy damaged hair.
so get the right products, it may seem a lot more expensive, but if you use only the amount youre suppose to , it last a while, so you can either go spend a “little money, a whole bunch of times, on junk, or go spend more money on quality.
ps, it doesnt cost anything to go into a salon and ask questions, tell them what you want to do, and she’ll look at your hair, and make suggestions.
first off, nice name:DD
and i have the same problem.. heres what i do:D
when you get out of the shower, put it in a towel for about 10 minutes. maybe even less.
take it down when its damp but not dripping
and you can either let it air dry for a little, or just start blow drying it right off the bat.
(if your hair is natural really thick and poofy, i recommend blowdrying it right after you take it out from the towel)
take a barrel brush, divide your hair into sections, and start blow drying it straight.
after its dry(dont freak out cuz its poofy right now) i usually put some serum in like this..http://salon.excuriaspa.com/images/sebas…
you can go to any local drug store and im sure they will have something like this..
put about a dime size drop of that in your hands, rub your hands together so it’s all over, and then run it through your hair.
after that, divide your hair into sections again, and start straightening with the highest amount of heat but BE CAREFUL not to leave it on one area too long.
once your done straightening your head, i recommend flipping your head over and just running the straightener through.
then put more serum in your hands and run it through your hair again.
and your done!!
this is what i do and my hairs natural frizzy and puffy.
hope i helped.
email me at xlana3x@aol.com if you have any more questions.
You MUST put something in your hair if you are using heat. If you are not, this could be the cause of your never ending frizz.
I absolutely LOVE a product called BioSilk Silk Therapy. You only apply about a nickel size and it WILL NOT leave your hair greasy. I have very fine hair and I can use it on myself, but I LOVE to straighten very curl hair with it.
When I do my daughter’s hair, she’ll wash it and let it airdry (usually the day before) and then I will go in section by section and flat iron. She has extremely curly hair and I can get it poker straight by doing it that way. But you have to use a heat protectant in your hair or you will damage it.
OK.
step one: make sure hair is tangle free. (comb)
step 2: put brilliant brunette shine shock by JOhn Frieda in your hair. start at roots and move downward.
step 3: put most of hair up in a bun at the top of your head, leaving only a thin layer loose for straightening. (bottom layer)
step 4: straighten bottom layer. dont rush through straighening. slowly go down each section of hair.
step 5: let down another SMALL layer of hair from the bun. repeat steps 3 through 5.
hope this helps.
Use a SMALL amount of leave in conditioner while your hair is still damp. Then when straightening your hair use a product from Regis Design Line called GET IT PRESSED Flat Iron Spray. Its a mist spray, you need to spray it on each section of your hair right before you use the straighter on that section. It does not make your hair greasy or dry at all. Make sure you have a good hair cut also. That could make your hair look frizzy as well.
You need cerium dear.
You should always use product in your hair when straightening.
It will not make your hair greasy, use a small amount the size of a quarter.
I use Redken smooth down and it works great, my hair is so smooth and shiny and straight.
Also try k-pak smoothing balm, that will restore your hair to it’s natural state.
Good luck.
try straightening with a straightener.
when i do it, i usually put some Garnier Fructis Style Sleek&Shine
anti-humidity smoothing milk. Don’t put to much because then it’d look greasy, just put a dime size into your hair.
that does the trick for me.
still straignten it, but set it on a lower heat setting. or if you want if permanently non-frizzed and staright, get a japanese perm! (it might be kinda expensive, but it could be a bday or christmas present?)
I use Sexy Straight hair (which is a spray), after I let my hair air dry which takes forever!!!!! I also have curly frizzy hair.
I guess girls like us with impossible hair can’t rly find answers for everything. sry…….
buy garnier fructis frizz control
OR
when you wash your hair make sure you use hair conditioner
& straighten it with an iron NOT blow dry! that only makes it frizzier.
U can probelly buy this tiff called pravana it is a straightening balm
it works and i sware by it!
you should try buying an Ionic straightener. i have thick, poofy, frizzy hair and i just bought one and It works really good. no frizz.
get a chi straightener and there are hair products that dont make your hair oily as long as you dont put too much in your hair.
Use a mild chemical Straightener.
use a heat protectant spray.
use a dime of hair serum…not too much so it’s not greasy…work it throughout the hair…
if ur not willing to use any creams or serums, combing is probably ur best bet…if u do this tho, make sure u condition well so that ther arent any knots…u’ll b combing for quite some time
Have it rebonded(i’m not sure if i spelled it right.) Hair saloons offered this kind of service, just ask.
wuth a STRAIGHTENER
dont blow dry and iron it just straighten it
maybe that’ll work
then just comb afterwards
