Well… I’m not sure how much money you’re looking to spend but the Chi blow dryer does wonders for my hair. I have long thick wavy hair and I use a paddle brush while drying to make it pin straight. The person above me is right, though, you really should use a heat protectant (though I never do…) When I did use a heat protectant I used sedu.

The Sedu is a bit pricey as those kinds of things go, but I’ve heard the L’Oreal brand works rather nicely.

You should use a good heat protectant. I recommend this or something like this.http://www.paulmitchell.com/Products/Pau…
You also should use a good brush. A nice large round brush is good to use for straightening your hair. This is what I recommend.http://www.sallybeauty.com/Round-Brush-C…
Always use a heat protectant when you use a heat on your hair. Don’t forget to deep condition atleast once a week.
