It all depends on your hair type. Mine is fairly dry and curly as well. This is what I do. The only simple products I use is a leave-in conditioner (Or serum by pantene) both are harmless to your hair. Put either in your hair when damp (not dripping) then braid it. Unbraid after a couple hours. IF you’re iffy on the serum (which you dont have to be) you can just use the leave-in conditioner.
Braiding holds the moisture in my hair as it is drying.
Just take it out before your hair dries completely.
With my hair, it turns out lusciously fluffy curly. Hope all goes well with you. =)
i have curly hair, too
i have to use product, tho. in very small amounts
you might not believe this, but i go for the stuff that is supposed to straighten your hair. it doesn’t of course, but it helps tame the frizzies. i like straightening creams without alcohol
like studio line hot straight.
good luck, wish i didn’t have to use product either….
The only way I know how to tame it is using products.
You may want to go down the hair aisle at the store and see which ones would work.
If you live in a humid area it is not possible. I
know from wince I speak. I have been doing hair for over 30 years now.
There is a product by “I. S. O.” called “Bouncy Cream” not available in stores, only at a salon. It will allow the hair to curl but not frizz. I know I have natural curl myself and use the product every day.
Call the salons in your area and find out who sells “I. S. O.”
im not sure
